Technoparks are centres where entrepreneurship culture is developed based on R&D and innovation, contributing to the national economy with advanced technology and value-added products and services. As Kocaeli University Technopark, we carry out studies for entrepreneurs with the support of KOÜ TTO.
CARBON Entrepreneurship Programme:
The Carbon Entrepreneurship Program, which was launched in 2021, was developed in cooperation with KOÜ Technopark and KOÜ TTO, and was implemented to support the entrepreneurship ecosystem. All infrastructure opportunities such as training, mentoring, meeting with investors, office, greenbox studio and prototype workshop are offered free of charge to support entrepreneurs with innovative ideas within the scope of the program. With the Carbon Entrepreneurship program, we aim to serve the entrepreneurship ecosystem in order to bring high value-added, advanced technology products and services, and innovative initiatives to our country and to the world. BİGG Tepe:
The BİGG Tepe project, which was completed in 2020, was carried out in cooperation with Kocaeli University Technology Transfer Office and Technology Development Zone, within the scope of TÜBİTAK 1512 Techno-enterprise Capital Support Program. It has prepared the 2nd stage of the TÜBİTAK BiGG Program, where entrepreneurs with strong technological side can receive grant support of up to 200.000 TL for their incorporation. In the BIGG Tepe processes, approximately 90 entrepreneurs benefited from training and mentoring support during three separate camps, and prepared Canvas business models, business plans and projects.
