Pre-Incubation

Pre-Incubation services are provided in order to support the process of transforming their ideas and projects into commercial value by establishing a company and providing the necessary infrastructure for undergraduate, graduate, doctoral students, and academicians of our university, as well as people with entrepreneurial character who want to take part in the R&D and innovation ecosystem.

In this context;

  • Periodically informing undergraduate/graduate students and academic staff about entrepreneurship within the university,
  • Entrepreneurs who are eligible to enter the Carbon Entrepreneurship Program use KOU Technopark Carbon Incubation Center office facilities free of charge as Pre-Incubation,
  • Using the Brand Prototype Preparation and Electrical - Electromechanical Product Development Test Center (PEET-M) for required studies,
  • Providing support to the projects of the startups that took part in the Carbon Entrepreneurship program and got financial support from institutions such as KOSGEB and Development Agencies,
  • Supporting the creation of projects by including startups in KOU Technopark Carbon Incubation Center or offices during the incorporation process,
  • Ensuring cooperation with companies operating in similar or close fields, or making efforts to recruit new university graduates to these companies,
  • Enabling entrepreneurs to benefit more from the University's infrastructures,
  • Matching academicians in order to strengthen R&D studies,
  • Making companies benefit from Support and Grant programs, introducing National (TÜBİTAK, Ministry of Science, Industry, and Technology, Ministry of Development, Development Agencies), International (Framework Programs, Eureka Program, etc.) project support and grant programs to companies and entrepreneurs for information purposes. Providing consultancy support to entrepreneurs about the operation of processes by following existing and new support and grant programs,
  • Encouraging and directing the participation of entrepreneurs in National and International project markets and technology platforms within the scope of this consultancy,
  • Participation in training programs organized by KOU Technopark for the subjects that entrepreneurs need.

Pre-Incubation entrepreneurs accepted under the Carbon Entrepreneurship Program are supported by KOU Technopark and KOU TTO teams and benefit from training and mentoring programs.
